Many of us are familiar with using air-con in our car on both hot and cold days, but just like other parts of your car, perhaps what you didn’t realise that your air-conditioning system also needs regular attention to make sure it is works efficiently.

During the hotter summer months there is a good chance you will be using your Air-Con system more. However did you know your system is also useful in winter? Air-Con systems create dry warm air rather than the normal humid air from outside and this helps to de-mists your car windscreen more quickly. However if your car Air Con system has not been recharged in 2 years it will dramatically reduce in efficiency, be less effective, and will have to work that much harder placing more strain on the engine and using more fuel.
